Good afternoon Ladies
Where DID the rain go? Apart from a few spots of rain (enough to make me turn the wipers on intermittently) en route to work this morning it has been the most perfect day.
It IS on the horizon though and so is the first match! Freo has taken on a real purple tinge and horror of horrors, the Dockers Flag was being flown above the National Flag today. Traditionalists would be horrified but hey, I have seen far worse done to our National flag sadly.
Platters of nibbles at the ready, liquid refreshments chilling off ...... let the game begin. If I wasn't a one-eyed Docker supporter I would wish the Eagurls good luck tonight. An exciting time for WA footy. (promise I will not bore you all with updates)

Seems somehow disrespectful to be excited about football matches when you consider what happened on Tuesday 11 September 2001 so apologies if I offend anyone 
What a gorgeous morning here........too nice to stay in bed.
I have already been out in the garden while the rest of the Flashie household is still snoring.
Our travelling son comes home this afternoon..............I have missed him..........(not looking forward to his three weeks of washing though.....
