Yeah, mine is a 2.25 litre commemerative one - I doubt it has been drinkable for the past 37 years (NT draught was a good drop though).![]()

I wouldn't know what to do with VB except to catch slugs, but it's said that if you put out beer snail traps it attracts snails from miles away.
hard to believe though that snails don't have any tastebuds and are attracted to VB.
seriously I wouldn't know what to do with it.

I have read that unlike wine, beer doesn't improve with age and that bottled beer only has a shelf-life of a few weeks before it goes off
although, with VB, how could you tell?

Back in '68, my Navy division had a party at Golden Bay, Malta, and a friend and I buried a case of "Nasty Gansett" beer in the sand. In 1970, I happened to return to the site, unearthed the booty, and took a sip...........
