Skechers are generally in US sizes so a 1 will be equivalent to our 13. If the shoe her mum checked was also a runner its probably a US size too.

The lights come on when they walk, usually down the side and in amongst the studs on the toe cap. In some models you can turn the lights off. The batteries seem to last forever in them.

i have a 55L fridge in the van I haven't tried yet but a carton should fit into there.
