Skechers are generally in US sizes so a 1 will be equivalent to our 13. If the shoe her mum checked was also a runner its probably a US size too.

 

The lights come on when they walk, usually down the side and in amongst the studs on the toe cap. In some models you can turn the lights off. The batteries seem to last forever in them.

i have a 55L fridge in the van Robot tongue I haven't tried yet but a carton should fit into there.

I was going to say my granddaughters are 6 years old

Three of them anyway and they all wear 

Size 12 shoes

The older one who is eight wears a 1

But it's too late you already bought them

Just to confirm they are not hideous

They are awesome
