Then you are lucky, as getting rid of snails s much easier and at least you can see them and pick them off.

last Spring we found this blue tongue in the garden, no idea where he came from and hasn't been seen since. He would fix those snails

We have one who shows up every now and then. He has given both of us a fright when we don't know he is there while we garden and it takes off at a run.
One year when he was young it spent a few days sunning itself on our front lawn, if you remember I thought it was sick and was giving it eggs and water (until it snapped at my fingers, then I left it to hubby to feed). If only it could dig for the curl grups LOL

Just did a very quick sprint inside (didn't know I had it in me). I heard them before I saw them, a swarm of bees.
They were just passing by, thank goodness. Over the last few years we have had to call out the pest people because they seem to like any crevice in our brickwork.
The first time they came in via the kitchen exhaust vent. They rampaged, yes....rampaged, in the kitchen and family room while we closed ourselves off in the front ot the house for hours waiting for the guy to come and get rid of them. We had to clean our all the cupboards and drawers as there were dead bees everywhere.
We did phone the bee removal service on the three occasions we have been invaded but each time we were told they were unable to come 😞
