I used to go around to my Auntie's on weekends to watch a couple of episodes. The episodes could get a bit gruesome and tbh, I don't have the nerve to watch the last season because apparently it's got a lot of blood...

I didn't mind the blood.....but the minute any needles appear.....help!

I agree with the article. Social media somehow thwarts the purpose of motivational and/or inspirational quotes, but only because on social media most people are constantly being bombarded with maybe 100 or so quotes per day. At that rate, it numbs the reader because it's too much information/inspiration and ultimately, the reader does nothing.

yet here you are...on social media...posting quotes

Ah, but there's a difference. Number one, I'm not posting multiple quotes each and every day; number two, people such as you choose to view & respond.

Smiley LOL you were doing them everyday, people were complaining about the frequency. You are a crack up. Also I dont believe I have responded in a positive way to any of your so called motivational quotes so they hardly have the correct effect on me. Perhaps you can come up with your own pearls of wisdom from your years of life?

Do as your parents say, except for when you know what you are about to do is for the greater good.

If someone is guided by their conscience throughout their entire life, a quote won't make much difference 😛 But it might also serve as a reflection that they couldn't put into words, or as a simple reminder that they are on the right (or wrong) track to what they really want.

Perhaps those people who don't like any form of inspirational and/or motivational message are content with their lives to remain unchanged; content for seasons to come and go without any form of growth, and without any desire to better themselves. Perhaps they don't like quotes because it actually makes them stop and think for a moment that they are unsatisfied with their lives and how they themselves are dealing with it.

1. You have been.

2. It's a forum, for discussion

Sorry for all the replies in a row....

The fact of the matter is

A poster can be anyone or

Within the rules of cs

And who is anyone to judge

When they are not really who they

Proffess to be

This is not the real world

Its a fantasy land

and what

You think you know is not

Always correct

And what you dont know wont

Hurt you

And if someone wants to

Come here a

nd be something different

Why should anyone even care

If as much effort was spent

Embracing a new poster rather

Than ridicule

To stick around for a year

Under such adversity

Merits some integrity

It all depends how the fantasy is used, and how that affects others, and it has.

No integrity has emerged to date.
