Great way to protect pedestians from being run over by a car.
(I slowed it down)
no mention of the broken legs, back or neck.

I checked the weather app about 11... Apparent temperature -0.5 degrees...
Yeah, it feels about that.... but no worries, it's still early, it'll warm up...
I checked the app again about 2pm... Apparent temperature -0.9 degrees...
It's a great place,Canberra , ha ha...
It wasn't long after dark when one of the cockatoos yelled...
I went out to see which of the possums it was that had ruffled some feathers, ha ha...
She was in the tree next to the tree that they were in, eating leaves, noisily...
Imagine someone enthusiastically eating celery with their mouth open...
Crunching, and gleeful crunching, at that... it's no wonder the cockatoos were upset, ha ha...
I half dreamt about opening that can of bully beef in the kitchen, last night...
Smelling that sharp tang, knowing that after a day in the fridge it'll end up tasting like paper, ha ha.
I can see that I'll have to schedule my day better so that I can eat an entire tin while it's still fresh... ha ha.
And who should turn up, today, but some part of the reason I bought the beef...
The butcher bird....
The butcher bird who looked at me somewhat quizzically when I held out a piece of bread...
He'll eat bread, but it seems he doesn't understand the idea of hand feeding...
Which is probably a good thing, considering that beak of his... ha ha.
It wasn't quite the pie he expected... ha ha...

I hope they didn't charge him extra for sauce...
