There are some things that almost defy description...
I think this qualifies... ha ha...
Black toothpaste...
I'd say that now I've seen it all, but I somehow I think even more bizarre offerings may lie ahead... ha ha...

Ecar - chew a clove of garlic everyday - not only will it it keep most aloof (lol) - but will surprisingly whiten teeth.

Garlic, I am told, is good for combating intestinal worms, too...
Ah! Finally! No more furtively hiding the Combantrin under the other groceries so that it avoids the prying eyes and judgemental stares of other shoppers... ha ha.

There may.... May.... be another blue wren... ha ha...
It's hard to say... There's Blue, and there's no mistaking him, then there's Mrs. wren, and either she's playing tricks on me or there's another little brown wren hopping around...
And, given the choices, I'm going to say 50/50 because there might well be another wren, and the likelihood of her playing tricks on me is just as high, ha ha...
I have to feel sorry for the myna bird who thought it would have a quick bath, while everything's quiet...
Splash - splash... Splash - splash.... Look up.... Oh....
The entire rim of the bird bath was lined with sparrows....
They did, grudgingly, move aside to let the myna bird out but not before it had been subjected to being stared at in a stern and reproachful manner... "It's Our bath...", ha ha...

I was talking to a bloke in Goulburn a few days back about, of all things, the weather, ha ha...
He says they've had a dry spell for the past four or so years... the rain falls to the North, on Sydney, or to the South, on Canberra, but not out his way...
Then last night, as the rain blew through, a little patch, probably not much more than tenths of a millimetre, passed over his way...
Hopefully it'll be the start of something bigger and better, otherwise I'll have to endure his "Gumboots for sale, One owner, Never used" jokes, ha ha...

Tell me about the lack of rain in Goulburn.....my daughter and her family live there.
It was so bad a few years ago that she used to come to Sydney to visit the family and bring her washing with her. she dropped a load at her sister's place, a load with me and took the rest to her grandfather's place. By the time she was ready to go home the washing was all done.

The snowy owl's military career was cut short when he was discharged, having been found guilty by a court martial of deserting his post...
