Reminds me 

At the market many years ago

A man came to my stall of 

Indain appearance in a turban

And long flowing robe

He told me he had travelled

The world

Even had a title which I have long

Forgotten

And proceeding to give me

A short and very accurate

Description of me

Already suckered in he pulled

A small blue gemstone thingy

From his pocket 

Told me this would protect me

Keep it in your pocket and it 

Will bring you prosperity

Then he asked me to donate

Some money towards his

Pilgrimage 

With which I gladly handed 

Over $20 bargain

At the end of the day 

I met up with my friend

Who was also selling

She had also met this man

And the price of her good fortune

Was $25 

So when I went home and 

Reflected on the day and its

Events there was some 

Comfort in knowing that

I was not the only idiot at the 

Market on that day

* The birds they look around the sky,

All tweetin' and a callin',

But when they want to really fly,

There be a lot of stallin' *

All i know is it is quite warm here today  and the weather is crazy

one day we have heaters on next day air con

oh and it is Salad night tonight.

36 here in adelaide tomorrow

Hows the blankets going?

There once was a nice little ducky,

Who made his webbed feet rather mucky,

He danced in the mud,

And caused a great  flood,

Which turned his clean feathers quite yukky!

Cross a budgie with a quail

A quarrot or a quudgie?

In trying to find a good topic,

It's leaving me quite gyroscopic,

So after all that,

I'm left feeling flat,

A wee little bit microscopic!
