Good morning Stringers 

Didn't get back Thursday, didn't get in Friday, came home exhausted from work and needed to chill out 

Will have to read back and catch up but I have seen some lovely garden pics ....... love your yellow clivea Deb.  They used to be extremely hard to get and very expensive too.  We don't have any here and not sure whether they would even grow in these conditions - not much space left either lol

A weekend off!  Bliss!!  Shopping done, unpacking being done as we speak (dislike that part almost as much as shopping but hardly a first world problem).

Ghastly events around the world yet again and even in Parramatta.  Life - grab it with both hands and do no harm to anyone - you just never know what is around the next corner 

Will we be watching the GF?  Probably 

yes they are rather expensive the yellow one Laney but they grow as prolifically as the orange one, which is good

Hunkering down here to watch the GF but what's with the cultural cringe with the pre-game entertainers?

The Grand Final of the AUSTRALIAN Football League and we have to import most if not ALL the entertainers when we have so many great Australian musicians!!

the AFL boss ( whatever his name is ) said awhile ago that he chose Bryan Adams because he liked an old song of his and his daughter chose the other singer
