Woohoo!  I'm very pleased to have got that wrong Smiley Very Happy

What at a fantastic finish!

What a game. Try after the Siren.

THe guy that drop the ball would be scarred for life.

Ben Hunt.  How horrible for him.  I liked the way JT went to him straight away to (I presume) comfort him.

or to thank him.

                                    or to thank him.

What do you mean by that remark, the-bob-delusion ?

Are you insinuating that JT said something like, "thanks mate, your cheque is in the mail". ? That would take the shine off a fantastic effort by the Cowboys .. wouldn't you think?

I think lurker was closer to the mark with the comfort statement.

Thurston knew how Ben Hunt felt.  JT lost the ball in a tackle not long beforehand which looked as though it was the end for the Cowboy's Dream this year.

I must admit it was the first time I have literally jumped out of my chair in the loungeroom, when the final try was scored.

Oh, and how clever was JT to mention in the Captains' Speech the need for a better home stadium, whilst his State Premier and Prime Minister were in attendance.

Spoiler
Ben Hunt still has to face the Judiciary for the spear tackle.  Imagine how "hurt" he would feel if Linnett was paralysed due to that action.
