Doesn't the northern beaches take in Manly and Narrabeen plus all the beaches I guess.

Yes, including Freshwater Beach, the next little beach to Manly, has everything Maroubra has except the Bra Boys. My back gate opens onto the beach reserve. B-)
I was in Waverley a couple of weeks ago and had a dip at Maroubra.
A great beach too.

Far South Coast NSW here. Been here about 18 months, best thing we ever did was to move here. It is just beautiful and even at this time of year it is just a bit busy, not crowded. Bliss 🙂
