I can't read the entire article because it is subscription only. I do love a good satire with my coffee and, really, what you have posted couldn't be anything else but that.

Perhaps, Sharri Markson would have been better off using that as her link.

As News Corp celebrated the company’s best journalism at its annual News Awards on Friday night, two of the journalists recognised, The Australian’s national security editor Paul Maley and cartoonist Bill Leak, both spoke about the threats to their safety.

no idea, here's the threat you've found
Victoria Police are investigating the threats, with a particular focus on this post: "theres no good left in u if none of u do something about the australian newspaper mocking our prophet peace be upon him. Dont be cowards (sic)."
is that the only one research turned up??
I thought from her headline there must've been something recent or numerous "threats"

Why? Because the article that she posted a link to ,said practically nothing about the journos being threatened, whereas, the one you posted a link to, did.

no but as the article said, the abc decided
not to post the other graphic content.
it would be inappropriate to post them on
ebay discussion board.

it said there were threats to their safety
related to their reports covering isis.
is that not enough? did you want her
to list all the specific threats? ![]()

2.My antipathy towards Rupe is because of his biased, inflammatory, right wing reporting. Not much different from what Paul Joseph G would print if he were around.

I think they should've mentioned what specific threats they were talking about as they used this headline, Terrorists have threatened senior News Corp journalists
which made the article look as if it was about some recent threats which wasn't the case. Rather deceptive really
