Deb-had a mate called Polly-because he Waffled on all the time.
Notice in todays paper--Pollywaffles are coming back.
They are great for throwing over the fence at a busy public swimming pool.

What a waste of a good polly waffle
But you'd definitely get your moneys
Worth in entertainment value
Who used to roll jaffas
Down the isle at the picture
Theatre?

Never rolled anything down the aisle. But there was known to be some rolling around in the back stalls. Don't think Jaffa's were involved.
So poor, that if I bought a ticket to the movie. I couldn't afford lollies. 6d worth.

Many of your posts Richo,
Remind me of my dad.
That Aussie larikinism of
Yesteryear when people had
A lot of fun without getting
Into too much trouble and
Loved life and valued it
Without the need for drugs
And mobile phones.
Had so little but were content
And life was a drug in itself

My SIL was telling me last night how so
Many things have changed
If two men had a problem in the past they
Would step outside and settle between them.
Now days if two men start fighting in a
Club its a free for all .
Chairs , smashed glasses across the face
Women getting in on it , bouncers .
Kicking people on the ground
Who are already unconscious.
And he blames partly the
Popularity of cage fighting
Sad and very scary for todays youth
