I keep meaning to make more than just a token effort towards cleaning up the junk house room, but before I get too far I always find something to distract me - I know I kept that for a reason, and I know it's probably fixable, now what would I need to get it going again...? 
I know exactly what you mean ecar, this has been a long time coming. i have been looking at it for a long time and just close the door on it . you know out of sight out of mind .i reckon i got rid of 95% of the stuff i was brutal .
i am glad i got there though it just needs a bit of tweaking now.
A nice big sign on the far wall, so that when you open the door it's the first thing that you see, that says NO, You do not need to put that in here!
I've got one in the garage, at least I think I do, there's a large pile of junk obscuring it.

its a great feeling i have got rid of soooooooooo much stuff we dont need we (almost) only have things in our home that we actualy use
funny cus we moved into a house that is more than twice the size of our old one and have less STuff !!!!!!!
