 This is a female satin bower bird.  She has ventured back to my area and the honeyeaters (m+f+3 young) are annoyed that she likes to forage in their nesting bush.  But those yummy plump berries are too nice!  She chatters like a baritone budgerigar.

Deb she is gorgeous !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

we used to have one in our old back yard some times she would come for a sticky beak saw her quiet a few times over the years 

 

the birds and trees are the only thing i miss from the old house we had heaps
