A day off is a great panacea for all that ails one - cept fortunately I do not have any ailments.

A good day without too many interruptions.

Not sure we achieved much but then who is counting? Not me lol

Not much to tell really .... another day in the Advent Calendar .... long time since I have seen a postman on a bicycle 

Our postman delivered a few cards here - had such good intentions of getting ours out to arrive on 1st December (old family tradition) but it just didn't happen.  Now they are hanging over my head like the Sword of Damocles 

Oh well .... all will be sorted in the fullness of time.

Work tomorrow - early night planned here

you might have read that we dont do the present giving anymore so it doesent realy matter bills are bills but the ones i hate are the

insurances !   soo many of them and now people even insure there pets ( not saying its a bad idea knowing how much vet bills can be )

but its another bill to add to the list i wonder what else they will think off next that we have to insure ?? lol

hi ooak, the insurance bills are a killer.. the vet insurance is a good idea if you can afford it, it's expensive as are  vet fees.

dad always used to say that the insurance companies like taking your money but they don't like giving any back

it's been a beautiful warm day here today amd more of the same coming up too I think.. I'ts so dry here, espite having recently had a little bit of rain, If it's dry here I bet it's bad in the country areas.   we might find that we're lucky to have that desal plant after all.. i heard them talking on the news the other day about possibly piping water to country towns.

I know Flashie is busy with Christmas, Laney is busy with work- looks like i'm the only one here atm

A lovely day here too but just a tad windy.  Even though Freo is know for being windy, we don't get whitecaps on the Sound every day but the last couple of days they have been incredible.

Some sad kidlets and their parents around tonight - the Perth Christmas pageant scheduled for tomorrow has been cancelled due to stormy conditions predicted.  Electrickery, rain and animals don't mix too well and some of the floats could have posed dangers to those on them and the families lining the streets to watch.  I guess it was a wise decision on balance but really disappointing given it is an annual tradition.

A hectic day today - feet up now and going to chill out watching Escape to the Country.  Easy dinner - fish and chips - suited us.

Talking about fish - there have been hundreds of dead fish of all varieties found in the south of the Sound.  Dept of Fisheries have not been able to identify the cause - some folks blaming algal bloom, some the desal plant, some a canola spill.  A real pity because it is the red snapper spawning season at the moment and their loss will impact badly on the next season.
