ggrrr i was wondering where you were hanging out. X-( :-x 😛

Ok, Fleur, two from me ... the first is a picture of fireworks ... I googled "fireworks" and printed out a B&W copy of a typical burst, then I painted in dots of acrylic paint.

The second is a 100 x 100 white tile, decorated with 2mm crystals (usually used for nail art).  It's the beginning of a tree which got finished with more crystals and some butterfly "blings".

I don't have any photos of the finished item.

Oh Katy that's lovely they are lovely, and I especially like the 'sunburst' effect in the first picture, or should that be called 'big bang', it's stunning.

Would like to see the finished tree, but I can see just how shiny and special it is.  Using those kind of special effects is so different.

Um, er, about the first attempt at getting the egg yolk and white out = FAIL .....  :_|

Thanks, Fleur ... sometimes I think my talent is just doing things differently ...

Perhaps it's because I know I can't compete in traditional artistic modes, so I create my  own style where there's no competition 😉

Yeah, blowing eggs is not fun.  You end up with sore cheeks ... and often broken shells.  I think you need to aim at piercing a hole of about 3mm each end .... maybe a little more.

And remember ... BLOW, DON'T SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!! 😉

Yes, will do, will report back tomorrow with attempt #2 ...  :_|

OK here's a couple of pet paintings that i did I used to do a lot

to bring in some extra cash but they take a long time and I'm a

bit lazy now. I work in all mediums but for the pets I use pastel I can

get more detail that way.

I really like the 3D effect of this one. 🙂

bright.ton42, very nice. I am working on my second drawing, of another Twilight character - Edward Cullen.

I can see Lillicat in Tas' work, she's in the middle on the right.

Moonlight I like your drawing, I'm not very familiar with the twilight stuff but I recognised your pic, particularly the mouth.
