There's no way to prove 100% if we are causing warming, or even contributing to it, and is it actually even happening. Any changes could just be a natural fluxuation.
But I'm all for investing in cleaner air and alternative fuels. I'd pay double to get rid of coal and oil. Look at China, could you imagine living like that? The damage will linger for generations even if they stopped burning fossil fuels today.
As far as warming NOT happening...this Christmas was the warmest I can remember. I've yet had to scrape ice off my windshield, so that's nice, lol. No jackets or sweaters required. Millions being evacuated due to major floods right now. It happens.

Crater Lake, at 6100 feet, received 197 inches of snow in December, which broke a record set in 1948.

I cannot believe that some people still do not understand the difference between WEATHER and CLIMATE. The climate is changing, and therefore the weather is becoming more extreme = temperatures are reaching higher highs and lower lows, more frequent and more severe storms, some areas are experiencing more severe and longer lasting droughts, while others are flooded. The changes are directly linked to rise of CO2 and other gases, which started with industrialization. And most importantly, the mean temperature is rising.
Of-course, it is true any particular heat wave, snow storm or cyclone cannot be 100% attributed to climate change, but the increase of severity and frequently is exactly what scientists have been predicting for decades, and most people have now accepted it. The only recalcitrants are those who either cannot accept they are wrong or / and if you dig deep enough you fill find a connection with fossil fuel industries.
