Why do some people think we can demand the same of another country???
Erica
because this is about human rights
which should have no boundaries,
no borders and no races.

as used very often by bolt as shown
'confected outrage' is not a term that I use or see much as i don't normally accuse others of having 'fake outrage"
my outrage over executions is genuine not fake, if that's what you're trying to get at
imo the Saudis are the worst... however they are an ally ( apparently) and have also been given a seat on the HR council which I find to be bizarre

i've heard it coming from both sides
of politics but mainly form the labor
party. i'm sure sometimes its warranted
and sometimes not.
recently i saw it used in reference to
'gaybe baybe' (title of an article in
crikey)

just thought I should make it clear, no I'm not "U.S. bashing" it is FACT that the Saudies are a close ally of the U.S, therefore us too
though I have read that money talks in some election campaigns, also in HR seats
hope that clarifies it for some ![]()

The Middle East is fast shaping up to be a rerun of the Cold War, with the major powers - US, Russia and now Saudi Arabia playing chess games in the conflicts of other nations rather than dropping bombs on each other. All it needs is for China to join in and we'll have a full house.
