(((Hugs from Perth Amy)))

How are your Mum and Dad Amy? Feeling better I hope. :-x

have spoken to dad over the weekend.
Mum still has the flu but is a bit better.
Dad seems ok.

I spoke to mum on the phone on Friday night. I put the kids on to her as well. Got no reaction at all

Glad to hear your Dad's dog bite hasn't festered. 🙂

Mum's flu is a bit better, but I'm sad for you that she didn't react to the Kids. 😞

Sending big ((((HUGS)))) Dear. :-x

My sister just rang.
Seems my Nan rang dad last night and said she feels she is now ready to go into a nursing home.
She had a fall in her flat a few weeks ago and was stuck on the ground for ages before someone heard her calling and helped.
Shes going with dad today to see if she can get into where mum is. Her name has been on the list for there for quite a while and she recieved a call saying she was near the top of the list

That is one way to guarantee she has at least one visitor Amy!

That will be a good thing Amy, for your Nan and your mum. I hope she is over the flu by now too!

Thinking of you Amy.:-x
You've done your best for your Mum from the start.
I hope you're looking after yourself too, your Mum would want that.
Don't be hard on yourself. Seems to me that the shock of the accident would take a long time to recover from, let alone dealing with the grief of seeing your Mum as she is now, & realizing that the recovery she's made so far may be it.
Take care.

Sorry Amy :-(I meant one way for your Nan to guarantee a visit from your Dad....

I don't know if it will be such a great thing for your Mum though???
