wow rosie you have the patience of a saint! 😮

i'd call it quits and make it a tablerunner :^O

Rosie when did you start that one, just asking, 😄 Hexagons, I did some 1" ones once, don't have the runner anymore.

I love having something to do in the evenings - dont want to be locked away in the sewing room all the time and it's a project I can take with me.

We travelled from Perth this week on the Indian Pacific and I managed to get a bit done on the train - I find it relaxing.

Would love to see it finished one day - but I am 70 years old now so who knows LOL

And Pepe - believe me - A saint I am NOT

😮 so much beautiful work on here! Pepe, yours are great! I would never have thought of doing that.

Rosie, love your quilts, perfection! and as you know I greatly admire your colour eye, lol

I have made a quilt in a day but usually they are smaller than bed size and not heavily quilted, and yes, 6am til 9pm before it is done.

I started that one in November last year - have put it aside for the spare room and doing a slightly different design (same size hexagons) now - I find it is going together very quickly - I decided I didnt like the yellow in between for my room.   There would be a couple of weeks work in the piece I photographed.

I really find it relaxing and if i see the end result its a bonus!

I HATE quilting LOL.  I love the piecing and putting the colours together but where possible and affordable I send mine to be machine quilted.

The Quilt Police would not like it but I cant be bothered with them !

Well you are zooming along then Rosie, It's a good design/pattern to take along on long trips/holidays or if you have to sit waiting for things.

Wish I had taken in on the cruise 😉

OH was horrified when I said I would take it so I left it behind.  Will definitely not listen to him when we go again in May.

This is one I did a couple of years ago for my daughter's friend.
