And so farewell Downton Abbey.

I've just watched the recording and loved it.  I won't say too much either for those who are still to watch, but I did enjoy it.    I do agree it could have been strung out to another couple of episodes at least though. 

How I loved the costumes,everything about it .  And I thought Edith made the most beautiful bride.

I have already seen Ladies in Lavender....and have it on DVD.

I am a Maggie Smith fan from way back but thought she was superb in Downton Abbey.  Her lines were very well written and her delivery was spot on.
