I will be visiting Officeworks today to pick up some drawing supplies, and I will also be buying a paint set.

So can I also participate in the challenge? Puhlease? I've never painted before, so we are all on the same playing field. 🙂

My question to the painters is: If the brush is dipped into one colour, does it then need to be rinsed in water, and then dried, before dipping into another colour to prevent mixing of colours? Or is a brush required for each colour?

Sounds like an idea. Would love to get more feedback about this. 

when i was painting (i haven't painted for over a year) I used acrylics.

I would have a jar of water to rinse the brush between colours and pat it dry on paper towel or a cloth - usually an old tshirt.

maybe we could come up with a monthly challenge we could each do in our own chosen style...

so someone would pick a subject and we all have a go at it, using whatever medium we prefer?

Ok thanks. I am not sure if I should buy pastel or acrylic paint.
