gosh I leave the building for a few hrs LOL
We went grocery shopping..Ashton was very happy chappy while we shopped 🙂
Sad.... Ashton has a bad chest infection the antibiotics he is taking and the aches & Pains & lack of restful sleep are making him Grumpy..not our normal flat chat Ashton 🙂
Ashton is in renal failure...has been since he was born we didn't know it when he was born...only after he was sent via air ambulance to the city did they do heaps of tests & found his kidneys to be half size & function @ 10-17%..wasn't given much chance of living so we bought him home planned his funeral...@ 4mths we took him back to renal Dr for check up..progress etc......he didn't want to but I made it clear Ashton was growing and putting on weight etc ok it wasn't by leaps n bounds but it was enough for the Dr to say bring him in...this followed a week in hospital just before xmas...we got good news and got to come home for xmas in 2007...3 weekly blood tests for months after that (900km round trip) then to 5 weekly then back to 3 then to 4weekly I have done mega Km's up n down the highway but thats part of it..... I guess you could say we settled into a routine some good... some bad times followed..
..Ashton went from Nasal Gavarge tube to a stomach Peg..3 1/2 mths later they took the peg out and put a button in and thats how he is fed over night through the tube it keeps the calories up to him while he sleeps.
In 2009 the renal Dr decided we could do 2 mthly visits with blood tests in between long as Ashton went to see a Pead 100km away.
...thats next week more blood tests..
