When to a friends place and the kids spent most of the time in the pool. They love the water.

Looks like we are going down the South Coast for a couple of days just before DD9 has to go back to school.:-D

I saw something on Tuesday that I've never seen before...fishing with twinies when another
bloke pulled in a fishing rod from the river! Complete with reel and all the tackle still attached 😮

Then yesterday, at the same spot, guess what twin no2 pulls in?

Yep, you guessed it, a fishing rod :^O

A 7ft long beachrod complete with a beautiful old Alvey side-caster and all the tackle intact.

Gave everyone a huge laugh I can tell you!

My son will be jealous when he sees this reel we washed the river muck off and it's perfect!

Going again this arv...who knows what they'll catch next? :^O

In answer to your next question, yes, we go fishing a lot and guess what the twins do at home...play
fishing games on their ipods and wii :^O:^O:^O

WOW OZ what a lucky find for twin #2!!! When my OH goes on long service leave in May he's buying a few fishing rods to take Master 12, himself and his Dad fishing.

I'm sooo jealous as I love fishing as well but the baby will be expected around that time so I will be housebound! (Lucky we live right around the corner from the Newcastle Private!)

Plus, I couldn't think of anything worse than taking Miss 2 (who will then be 3) out fishing....she's too much of a handful and will scare all the fish away!

my youngest grson comes fishing (3yrs-4 in April) he has had his own rod for 12 mths or so and can do
everything himself except bait the hook and take off a fish when he catches one :^O

so cute, I'll try to rustle up a pic for you.

he hates it when he is the only one who does'nt catch anything! he can cope if no-one else gets any
but if it's just him, well! even if it's just a toad he's happy!

anyway, you're more than welcome, just let me know. There's a lovely little beach area where we go for
miss 2 😄 no waves and a playground next to the sailing club...come to think of it, there's
a bbq there too, maybe we could make a day of it and have lunch if you're interested in coming?

Hey Eve! Thanks for the offer and you never know I may just take you up on it! If you are up around Stockton there seems some lovely little spots close by that look pretty good for fishing.
