Mr. Biden, like any other politician, knows that the time for free travel will end on 8th November for him. Government in USA will change that day, so of course he is taking all last minute oportunities to travel the world. Well, at least as far as he can find an explanation for a reason to visit those countries.

Donald Trum or Hillary Clinton will choose their own buddies to travel at taxpayers expense.

Same and more of the same everywhere you look. Big discussions are only excuses and of no value.

Well, not all of them but certainly the majority of them think that.

My OH is Canadian but his parents lived and worked in the USA for many years and his late brother's family still live there.  Even after a number of visits to Australia over 30 odd years they still had some misconceptions about the country.

The best I ever heard was when a seller kept telling me that the reason my parcel had not arrived was because there were floods in my area.   The floods were in Brisbane...I am in Sydney.   Things got very heated before my parcel finally arrived...she just would not believe that we were not in any way affected by floods in another state.

When I went to France every one knew where NZ was, in America i got sick of trying to explain where NZ was.

I was asked a few times if I was Australian 🙂

I  lived and worked in Washington DC for many of my adult years before moving  to Ft Lauderdale Florida.

Most Americans thought Australians yodelled and wore lederhosen.

The best decision I ever made was to come home to Australia.
