You see it's hot & blowy outside and the chickens are taking refuge under this decking but there is a deep but narrow hole under that decking and I'm worried one of the little chicks is going to fall/get blown in. My derriere might get stuck under said decking

It's been like almost 40 degrees here today, the mother hen has been in a wooden coop with the babies but tonight I found her in the larger colourbond hen house with the others and her babies scattered around the doorway of the wooden coop not knowing what to do 😞

So I shooshed her out of the big house and back into the smaller coop with the bubs but I have had to leave the sliding door open for the night. I hope no fox digs underneath and gets them 😞

It's too hot to close it.
