I've been wondering. This thread is virtually
unused,. So you don't have to worry about bumping it every two weeks.
I'd be more than happy to take over the task, give it new life, and add new definition to the Stringers Story.
There comes a time, when one comes to the crossroads and wonders, is this all too infantile, what
can I do to make this world a better place?

Thought for the day.

You can choose your friends, but you can't choose
your enemies, or is that family? Lol

That's a lovely thought Debra, grace is a very special attribute. Not to be taken lightly.

Can you fill me in on the meaning of Stringers?
I've heard it has to do with tea bags, or at least something attached to a piece of string.

I love strings .....  Smiley Tongue

I think a house warming party is in order for the new
Tenants

Needs a bit of redecorating, if everyone chips in,
should be done in a FLASH. Woo hoo.

I fear you've been grubbing through too many garbage cans, Lollieman. and the creepy crawlies who inhabit them have been less than truthful with you

Ths is where the meaning of Stringers came from.

Weather Forecast Station

Piece of string nailed to a block of wood.

instructions:

  • string curling: hot
  • string wet: raining
  • string hard to see: foggy
  • string white: snowing
  • string smoking: lightning strikes
  • string moving: windy
  • string still: not windy
  • string missing: hurricane, or thieves about

So are you saying that the stringer myth implies that those people were blockheads, full of wind, old and
weatherbeaten?

Gee I have not been here for ages.

Waves to Tas...............have you have much snow up your way?............we drove up the midlands last weekend and there was snow in the hills............some snow where we are but none of it settled.

I wonder if Prima and Laney read here..........................I miss them.

Hubby and I are off for the weekend.................going up north to watch an AFL game.

Leaving both boys at home.......(well..........men...........but they are my boys)...............plenty of food in the fridge.

Youngest grandson is excited...........we have employed him to be chief guinea pig feeder........he feels so important.

Well...... Look........ Who's..........Here......... Lol.

Deb seemed soooooo lonely, I thought I'd come and keep her company. Sometimes, friends let us down, isn't that right Deb?
That's......not...... Very........ Nice.

All of a sudden, it's busy again.
