Personally I've found that smiling and asking politely will usually get me what I want - but then my wants are neither outrageous or extravagent.

Brrr, it is cold in Sydney town.

It has been an eventful few months. It seems a person needs to be perfectly grounded to manage the ups and downs of life as we get older.

I hope you have a great holiday Flashie, you deserve a break as you work so hard, as does your hubby. I see others are trying to get you a longer holiday than you planned, they must really appreciate your work ethic :).

How the world changes over the months. People come and go, females become males, the mods have deserted the forum. This should be interesting, ROFL.

We have been invited by our neighbours to a Christmas in July dinner tonight, just six of us from three households.. I have never been to or held a Christmas in July dinner. It should be great but since we got the invite, I have started to think about  the real Christmas and stressing about how unprepared I am.
