I prefer hot weather to cold as well, anything up to 35C is fine with me. But when it's soooo hot, like the last few days, I seem to get into this unexplainable lethargic state which absolutely annoys me. I don't mind rain as long as it doesn't go on for days. I need the rain for my garden which is looking a bit yellow at the moment. Funny the weeds are doing better than the shrubs.

We turn off the aircon at night and open the windows but I don't think there was any cool breeze last night.

Wonder whether they found the 20yr old swimmer who got swept out at Maroubra South Beach yesterday? How awful for his family & friends.

Good morning madam I don't think they have found that swimmer he is the second one to drown there in a week.

The woman who drowned was a doctor.

Really hot again today.

Morning margo, braff, madammuck and everyone else!

Hope we're all staying cool still....OH took Miss 2 to the beach yesterday morning after dropping me off at work....he was planning to stay an hour but stayed 3 as she was having too much fun with all her new found friends (she loves the beach!).

It's overcast here yet very, very humid and hot....6 months preggers and counting down!

I'd rather be hated for who/what I am rather than be loved for what I'm not.

Hi All,

Heatwave 6 days in a row - on the radio this morning, the weatherman reported that this was the longest heatwave in history. I'm still waiting for the rain we were promised on Friday.

Sydney drivers are so impatient. Two separate incidents on Friday where some idiot tried to take out the front left corner of my car. Now if I want to smash up my car, I can manage it on my lonesome, don't need some random to do it for me.

15 deg atm, only expecting it to get up to about 21 today according to weatherzoneB-)

Don't think I've felt that temperature (outside of my car air-con) for over a week!

Hi all

I love the heat but 7 days is a bit much.

At 2.30pm the Southerly hit Hornsby and it is beautiful.

I have been outside and the temp has dropped from 32.2 to about 25
