A very worthy charity to support and help our farmers who struggle through bad timed that are not the farmers fault. I admire those people that battle floods, fire and draught to keep the Dairy and Meat production going.       In those bad tines, most of them have an income of much less than a person on the dole,

I live in a fertile region. We have had no bushfires, no floods and no cyclones. (even though everyone here complains about the weather)

Years ago our local farmers had a Hay collection. Some supplied their trucks and a group were fund raising the money to pay for the fuel needed to deliver the hay to some struggling farmers up north.

The first collection was a great success. Half the town was at our old Railway Station watching 11 trucks being loaded and starting on their journey.

Buy a Bale is an incentive for people to donate and get something back in return. The calendar is beautiful and a daily reminder of how much we need the food those farmers provide.
