yep was a shame he was sick but at least he got antibiotics asap...couldn't take him to the hospital as the dr was not there 😮 had to ring up another towns surgery to see a Dr....
Ashton is on the mend ....slowly...might take a few more days to get back to 100% has been drinking formula yesterday and today and some water....no gastrolyte so that is good.
Caught up with othe SIL and the kids they all went to feed the ducks and played ball out the back yard..

We head home tomorrow...hope to leave early as the temp is due to hit 43degrees...

We made it home yesterday at 5pm was cool in the Prado but hot hot hot when we stopped for lunch n icecreams...stopped at WW to get a few things kids had to hold the bags as no room to put them...
Gonna be a few days sorting everything out I think..too hot to do much atm
Hubby watered the vegie garden and the back lawn last night both showing heat stress lucky the dam is full so have plenty of water atm.
Think the cats missed us as Middy meowed at the windows n doors most the night...no amount of telling him off worked Snoz didn't care he slept....they are outdoor cats so bringing them inside doesn't work cause they sit by the door meowing to get out.

Ashton has been sleeping well and drinking all his bottles...almost back to normal 🙂
Ashton & I are having a battle over the tape that holds his tube shut.....he keeps ripping it off and then squeezes the tube so the tummy liquid leaks out....I have put heaps of tape on & and it has not made a difference...even put the elastoplast tape on thinking it would hurt too much but nup he ripped it off no problem :-(......grr saga will continue I guess.

Glad it has cooled right down...yesterday we had heavy rain most the day...better than 43 degreees.

Hubby is madly crutching sheep in prep for shearing in a few weeks only a few thousand to go.

first morning of being sick...hooked up to his machine with gastrolyte going through it.....temp hit 40degrees so lots of baths.
