Some things stand the test of time. That ugly looking thing doesn't.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if he bought the thing on ebay.Smiley Very Happy

Back about 14 years ago, I saw something like this on sale (just the plain tree branches).

Advertised as a bookshelf-I think some of the branches were planed flat on top.

It was in a warehouse, really tall thing, would have gone through our roof and more.

Only $700.

There were no takers the week i looked.Smiley Happy

But just goes to show, ebay was ahead of the trend.Smiley Wink

I don't mind it!

It's actually quite creative!

Although a Christmas Tree should be green, to symbolise eternal life. The fir tree being an evergreen.

I saw a black Christmas Tree in a Designer shop window the other day. With silver ornaments. No doubt they thought it very stylish.

It just looked grim.

Man Sad

Why not just buy a fake tree? He said it was too heavy, and it looks terrible.

It reminds me of this home built by a moth (although the moth did a better job).....

*case moth from New Guinea*

lol, jim

i saw this on FB and it's green

some perth guy built it. i doubt i'd be up to the task, probably a hero in his circle of mates.

(dig his classic car!)

Signatures suck.

Our Christmas tree last year at work was made from plastic bottles. The finished product actually didn't look too bad.

If only I had the time.

"A catamaran largely constructed from 12,500 recycled plastic bottles on Monday completed a 4-month journey across the Pacific Ocean meant to raise awareness about the perils of plastic waste."

"The Plastiki,  a 60-foot catamaran, and its six crew weathered fierce ocean storms during its 8,000 nautical miles at sea. It left San Francisco on March 20, stopping along the way at various South Pacific island nations including Kiribati and Samoa. It docked Monday in Sydney Harbour."
