I read that and then spent the rest of the day trying to remember who it was that I knew that had the full set of softback Footrot Flats books.

I remember sitting on their loungeroom floor, reading them for hours (with Mum occasionally nagging me for not having a light on - "You'll ruin your eyes...", ha ha ).

He was a true entertainer, and a great artist.
