Dad has blacked out twice today.
He was taken to the Doctors and they say he has vertigo and have put him on antibiotics.
Sister also went up to see Mum tonight. She says Mums breathing is so loud you couldnt even hear the tv over her. And she said Mum spent a lot of time looking at the ceiling

tonight on 60 minutes they are doing a story on stilnox and how it is "waking" people with serious brain injuries.
This is the drug i begged the doctors to give to my Mum.
But i was told no. It had not been trialed enough. Even though a South African Doctor had tried it on many patients.
I asked "whats the worse that could happen"
I was told "She could be very sleepy for a day or two"
So, again, i begged for them to give it to her.
But every doctor, every "specialist" said NO.
I tore myself apart everytime i went to Dubbo because I had Stilnox and i just didnt know whether i should just give it to her myself.
Even now, i still hate myself for not giving it to her.
It would be to late now. Her brain isnt the only injury now. her liver, kidney and lungs are also bad.
I'll be watching the 60 minutes story tonight. I know its going to upset me

ok, i just watched the 60 minutes story on 'Awakenings' from last night and im furious at the useless doctors here in Australia who convinced me not to try this on Mum. It's alright for them to say no to it but they dont have a family member laying in a nursing home dying a slow death. And im angry at myself for having the Stilnox and not ignoring the doctors and just giving it to her.
