Madammuck, have to agree with the traffic congestion getting worse, and I don't even live in the congested area of Sydney.
However, I've noticed it locally.
Not sure if we're all breeding more cars or more people or both of those and I'm getting older and it's catching up with me.
Definitely traffic congestion where there wasn't any before.
I'm watching Barry O'Farrell with great interest.

I was invited to come here as I now reside in NSW as of last thursday... 🙂

Its a big adjustment but having lived here before I shall be okay. I am just NOT used to the heat here!

New Zealand

Etc.... you get the drift...have moved a LOT so that we could experience life and different life styles.

BUt now have gone to where my family are as I am chronically ill and we all need to support each other through illnesses ( my mum is now in remission from lung cancer and dad has come out of an operation and a mild heart attack quite well...).

I hope to pop in now and then if I am up to it but very exhausted from the long trip up the coast. In the process of house hunting which is not fun in the heat but the south coast is a lovely area and we shall settle in soon enough.

We didn't experience the violence of the storms yesterday.

I've lived in NSW all my life, mostly in Sydney but a few years were spent in the Riverina.

Loris - I think the traffic congestion is getting worse as well and I blame the bureaucrats for poor urban planning. Out my way, they open new estates up and don't deal with road infrastructure until several years later, and then it takes several years for road changes to be completed.

Hopefully today won't be as hot as yesterday. Have a good one everyone!

It is a lovely day here today.

Which reminds me, before I go to the concert I will be watching himn on Sydney Weekender this afternoon.

The concert was everything and then some. It was the final one in Sydney and it went off (in a good way).
