While I was in Melbourne staying with my Mum she got a bee in her bonnet about my Kindle.  She wanted one right or wrong.  Now my Mum is technologically challenged to say the least!  Worse than anyone I have ever met....but she always wants the latest gadget and has NO IDEA how to use them.

On this visit she asked my dd to try and fix her dvd player.  DD turned it on!  On other occasions she has asked me similar things and it's always a case of turning the darn thing ON 😐  My brain is gonna explode one of these days.

Well, the other day we head down to Big W and she buys her Kindle 3 wifi/3g

I get her all set up with amazon and pixelofink....all is going aok until yesterday morning she shows me the screen has lines running through it half way up and it wont turn on or off.  Tried a reset, but no-go.  Well we came home today and I'm not sure how she will go trying to sort it out.

Why did she have to get a dud kindle...of all people grrrrrrr

I only hope the movie will be as good.  The cast seems good.

I read this book last night, and couldn't put it down. Plus this book really creeped me out in places.......and that doesn't happen often.

It was a freebie and still is. I highly recommend it.

Now she tells me she has lost the receipt....all in the space of a week.  I shouldn't be surprised by this though, in the week I stayed with her she lost her wallet and her credit card (on separate occasions) 😐
