All they are prepared to do is give him accommodation while he is in Australia.

Pell certainly tried to white wash those who were accused of pedophilia and he handled it appallingly.  

I don't believe the pope 'has his back'.  

Although the law states innocent until provent guilty I think in Pell's case he is guilty until proved innocent.
