Update for all of you 🙂 Ashton is settling in ok he has had one 120ml "run" through his catheter tube...no dialysis until tomorrow...we have both had a go putting the tube into the machine and went ok the renal nurse was happy we did it right.

most important rule is washing hands 2 x plus use hand sanitiser and remember no touching anything while waiting for machine to do it's thing...if in doubt re wash n sanitise all info is recorded onto a key card senser that has to stay in machine all time...

forgot to say Hubby is staying in hospital with chubba tonight I will be staying there tomorrow night 🙂 kids are coming in with me tomorrow morning 🙂

Another update...I did the set up for Dialysis this morning..all set for 4 sessions...no 1 fail...no 2 worked..no 3 fail..no 4 fail...x-ray shows tube sitting in correct place but they think stomach tissue is wrapped around the catheter stopping the flow so looks like surgery to fix it :(...bugger

should go to bed after not much sleep last night...boy toddler accross the hall screamed "mummy mummy" all through the night his mum slept soundly with ear plugs in in the fold out bed next to him....Fig what about the rest of us???? Poor nurses where left to deal with him 😞 I woke up feeling like shirt.

....chubba slept right through from 10pm until 9am when I woke him up just before hubby got there....

Before leaving tonight I bathed him and changed the dressing on his catheter he was ok just in a hurry to get dressed again LOL

chubba woke up happy this morning he has a few more friends to play with on the ward so he gets busy real quick.

Update on chubba...
We can't do dialysis atm because of the blockage so we have just been practicing with the touch screen on the machine and working stuff out...we will hopefully know tomorrow when Ashton can have surgery...for the moment he may be discharged for a few days 🙂 he had bloods done this afternoon should get results tomorrow I think.

Hubby staying in hospital with chubba again...his choice 🙂 think he is having fun with the play centre toys as much as the kids 🙂

Up date...Ashton has been discharged (yay) we come back to the city when they have a firm date for surgery...Drs where so disappointed they couldn't get the operation done today or next week...so we pack up and go home again tomorrow
