That stubby little owl that I started carving turned out alright, quite surprisingly, ha ha.

The wood turned out to be sturdy enough to take shape, so I thought I'd paint it.

It's a little piece of pale wood, the size of half your finger, and could be easily mistaken for a small chess piece, so a dab of paint can only help, ha ha.

Or so I might think...

Being so small, I can only paint it about 1/3 of it at a time.

There's five minutes of my day gone, and add a couple of hours for the paint to dry...

The day, somehow gets past, and I find myself in the larger numbered hours of the evening realising that I've done next to nothing with it...

It is coming along, albeit at a very slow pace, ha ha.

🙂

So you're saying that there should be some kind of message on the banner?

Something like "Come to the RSPCA and look at the dogs, it'll be an 'owl..."?... ha ha.

And then Awesome mumbles something at me about not wanting a cup of tea, and then rolls over and goes back to sleep... ha ha.

On the small table there's a little, little Mum possum...

This must be her first baby - it's clinging to her back, and looks like it's almost the same size as her, ha ha.

Over on the big table there's another possum having something to eat...

Every so often it looks over at the two possums, but stays put...

It has to be Zoo, ha ha.

Zoo's the only possum who wouldn't come over to find out who these two are...

"They might chase me... That big boy possum chased me... I'm not taking any chances with strangers anymore...", ha ha.
