Tuesday, which was yesterday...
Takeaway got up, out of the Old house, and walked over to breakfast...
I hadn't expected Zoo to be following her, as Zoo has been exercising her Bold Young Possum Independence over the last few days, and that includes sleeping where She wants to sleep... ha ha.
I had a quick look over at the Toffee house, then across to the Honey house, but couldn't see her...
I was about to say to Takeaway that she couldn't have moved out that quickly... when there was the sound of a little possum galloping across the bridge from the garden...
Zoo got to the pergola bridge, the t junction, and turned left...
And stopped... ha ha.
Mum's eating breakfast...
And Zoo, the Bold Young Independent Possum doesn't want to join her because if she did, then she wouldn't be being very Independent... ha ha.
She looked at me - What should I do...?
I thought that pointing at the platform immediately behind her, where the "Other" breakfast is, and has been, at least every day that she could remember, if not longer, would be indication enough...
It took her a moment to register... ha ha.
Ah! Breakfast!
Meanwhile, Takeaway continued to eat at a leisurely pace, then got up and had a drink, which gave Zoo adequate time to eat, and then a reason to scamper off down the bridge, down the tree and onto the big table...
The big table, where there's food...
But it's not the same food as breakfast... ha ha.
Actually, it is, but of course it's not, because breakfast is up there on the bridge... ha ha.

And then Wednesday, which is today...
Takeaway slept very comfortably in the Toffee house...
There's plenty of room to stretch out, and no little possum in the way, ha ha.
Zoo slept in the Honey house, and as she had done so many times before, when she got up she followed the bridge round to the pergola bridge...
She got to the junction and... oh, no...
Mum was already having breakfast.
She paused at the junction, then took a step forward onto the pergola bridge, before taking a step back...
She turned back to the bridge behind her and took about four paces along it before turning around and coming back...
But Mum was still there...
In the way...
What was she going to do?
Breakfast isn't so straightforward when Mum's in the way... ha ha.
She saw a piece of bread right on the edge of the platform and slowly crawled towards it...
Just as she was about to grab it with her mouth...
A dog barked, in the street, and Takeaway decided that the best place that she could be was back at the Toffee house.
Which meant using the bridge that Zoo was on...
Poor Zoo suddenly found that she had to get out of the way, as her Mother wasn't stopping for anyone, ha ha.
She ran along the bridge and took the first side exit which happened to lead to end of a bridge...
At the end of which, in full view, was the platform where the "other" breakfast sits...
What a wonderful coincidence... ha ha.
In spite of all that trouble, Zoo managed to get breakfast after all, ha ha.
The fun never stops... ha ha.
