after nearly two hours with Amazon live chat I've finally got a working Kindle.  Its lucky it was all on line as I would of exploded after 20 mins on the phone.

What made it even more frustrating was the fact they kept telling me to hold down the ALT key and type eqq and nothing would happen.  BUT they would then say "have you tried the 311 trick?"

Even though I clarified what they meant (and trying their way about 5 times) I tried holding down the ALT key and typing 311...... guess what?  It worked.

I need a Bex and a good l lie down

well done happy! I couldn't find anything free to download this morning...nothing that interested me...... maybe I am getting picky but I have 221 books I haven't read as yet.

Bought a few books from Amazon the other day, spent less than $10 and in all that was a "boxed set" of 4 books.....$2.99!

I get that often.  After a while I just give up.  There is no valid reason I've been as to why it's like that

apparently it's the authors and/or publishers who make the decision as to where their kindle edition is offered to

but why? is what I want to know, makes little sense.....I am not going to buy the paper copy and pay postage but I would buy the kindle version.
