Well it's my turn to experience the legendary customer service. 

Mr 12's kindle started going weird last night. It's randomly rebooting itself with no prompting. 😐

I have had the phone call - I was super impressed that they rang me.  Told the lovely guy what was happening and he said he had never heard of that one before.  It went weird while troubleshoting so a replacement is on it's way.

So far I love the service.  All I need to do now is figure out where to take it to be returned via UPS so I don't have to pay. (Although if I do have to pay, they will refund the costs.)

I was really happy to have my kindle today, I have a really great aspie book on it and needed to show it to a friend. 🙂

now if I remember correctly when I had to return mine I'm fairly sure I had to call UPS Australia and they got TNT to pickup my Kindle.  UPS number for Australia is 131 877 tell them you need to return a Kindle.  Depending on your location they will either pick up from you directly or get you to post to your closest depot.

glad I could help kiwi.  Oh I just remembered, DO NOT seal the box up until you've spoken to UPS.  I did and then had to pull heaps of tape off as I had to hand it over unsealed.

I'll keep that in mind 🙂

I'm going to stick with my 2nd generation Kindle.  From what I've read the touch is rather finnicky, and not always easy to use.

I'll wait until they bring another version out.
