MY question is ... I want to get some cord for making wind chimes.  I have just taken apart 4 tangled ones and I want to mix and match and make some more.  The cord that was used on the ones I took apart was like thick cotton ... almost 1mm in width.  Does it have a special name?

canvas should be ok, I was thinking sketch paper as opposed to water clour paper that lies getting wet.

Sorry, got no idea re the windchime twine. I wonder if it's a hemp twine. My chimes must be cheap and nasty, they're held together with fishing line :^O

Thanks, Pimpy ... yeah, I've got one with fishing line ... icky stuff 🙂

venetian blind cord?

Hello Kengillard xx  I really like what you have shown.

Oh thanks Pimpy, I'll test it out on a strip of it so that nothing is wasted .. I was worried about using water, so far, I've just been using a bigger tube of white to change the colour, so maybe I don't have to water down acrylic paint at all?  Hellllllllllp???

Thanks, Gillie.  I think that would be too thick ... but, I'll check.

Fleur, did you read my link about water?

yes Tas.   you can water down acrylic with water.....just test it on another piece of paper to make sure it has the strength of colour you need?

Nice. Was this done on the computer?

Tas, I am glad you're dealing with these problems now, because I'll probably run into the same problems when I start painting.

Ooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhh, that's nice, Gillie.  How, what, where etc???
