A big girl possum came running down the ramp from the direction of the garden...

She paused for a moment at the base of the ramp, on the bridge, then ran up the ramp to the roof...

That was when I saw her little one, who had been hidden behind her, running close behind her...

They disappeared onto the roof and I had about enough time to blink before...

A big girl possum came running down the ramp from the direction of the garden...

She paused for a moment at the base of the ramp, on the bridge...

She sniffed the air, ears twitching, then turned and walked back up the ramp, in the direction of the garden....

Her little one was safely clinging to her back...

Two little possums, so close in age...

They're destined to take over the world....

Or sit at either end of the garden and bellow at each other... ha ha...

Seeing double? It felt like it...

Either it's an amusing coincidence or there's a nearby temporal anomaly, ha ha.

This is sookie - she has beak and feather disease she is healthy

otherwise - she belongs to my son and DIL she would be

about 6 yrs old and is the funniest little creature - if she hears

them pick up their car keys - she calls out "chippies" "chippies" 

because she knows they are going out and wants them to bring

her home hot chippies.

twyn - OMG how cute is that - she looks better

dressed - she swears like a trouper as well as  

being cute - when she was out in the yard and had

that pic taken a mynah bird swooped her and she told it

to ........................off!!

This lot lot don't swear... not in English,  anyway... ha ha.

Thankfully they're all a bit too old to pick up on any of my more colourful expressions, or they're too modest to repeat them, ha ha.
