David, of course the leaches are trying to figure out how they can tax them.
What will be fun to watch is the absolute mess they will make of the driverless revolution.
There will be no need for private vehicles and all the associated paraphernalia.
Licences, what will they do for ID. Cry out for the Australia card again.
Vehicle registration income will massively reduce.
Employment will be be massively reduced.
Too busy plying us with bull excrement at the moment to think about the future and how it will affect everything

OP, although I don't hate Craig I will be very upset if the rebadged Opel wins.
I hate Commodores and a foreign made one. Yuk!

Each to their own... it's what makes life interesting!!
Much as i love the car races, I don't usually mind who wins providing it's a fair and safe race.

thats the problem with 'production car' racing, cars arnt built equal.

so from when the Ford company stopped building falcons with stonking V8 power plants just to be in bathurst leaving it to Holden (who continued to build cars just to win bathurst) and some private ford groups to modify cars to be competitive.

so to cure one problem cams created another as year after year they 'fiddled' with the rules to try to make fords and holdens were competitive with each other.

history will show it never really worked.

leading us to todays rubbish where under the 'skin' the cars are identical! more or less.

and sure they are fast and sound great, but they are BORING!

its more about reliability now than anything else, survive to the end without anything major going wrong and your a good chance to be on the podium.

being on pole position is meaningless as how often does that car win? often crashing out in the early stages if a computer 'glitch' doesnt force it out.

geeze i hate hearing they have a 'software' problem or the guys are changing the computer module!

Or drive like Whincup. Break the rules. Smash the leaders off the road and hope you win by counter protest.
I hate him.
I've never followed a driver. I've always been a Ford fan whomever wins.

Compulsory brake rotor change is going to be interesting to watch and could be a bit wet tomorrow. Rain in Adelaide at the moment and looks like a strong system

Shoot out is over and now we have one sleep until the last great race.
It'll never be the great race again.
Just a bunch of foreign cars from next year on. Fifty one years of tradition gone.
