With all this stock market turmoil supposedly caused by

trade wars and interest rate hikes, a cynical notion crossed my mind.

Now Trump didn't make the Fed raise interest rates but the Trade War....

What if the trade war was engineered to spook the public rather than bebefit

the USA. 

Stock market slump, bargains snapped up by seemingly dopey investors,

"Oh sorry but the trade war was a bad idea so let's drop it".

Those dopey investors make billions.

Yes, it's my own simple view but it's not the first time politicians have

manufactured golden geese.
