Ash made it against Sharapova!!!!

Was nerve-wracking in the third set - walkabout was looming - but she knuckled down and got there.  What a great example of good sportsman/womanship she is too.

Laughing here - not many of our friends are such tennis tragics so I come here to share with my friends who are - they know who they are too

Does Stefanos Tsitsipas' victory over Roger Federer tonight mark a changing of the guard?

It was exhausting to watch and whilst we are a little disappointed with the result, Stefanos certainly deserved the win ...... he just never gave up.

Some new names coming through the ranks ........

that heatwave you're sending us Laney.. it's on it's way.. it looks like Thursday and Friday wlll be the worst of it here... I haven't looked beyond that yet

Good morning and HAPPY AUSTRALIA DAY to friends, posting or not.

Some might wonder if I have a bad case of tennis elbow - I can assure you that it is not the case.

Have been managing to fit work into the tennis schedule - with some difficulty I must say - but come Monday (Tuesday actually) things will be back to normal (whatever that is).  Posting has een relegated to the bottom of the list but I have still been thinking of my friends.
