Hi Domino,

I've managed to get a salad ready, the casserole going and I've been threatening to make a pineapple upside down cake for dessert ... couple of people dropping in for dinner tonight at short notice .. yay for the pressure cooker!

Oh - yummy bummy - sounds so good.

Is it freezing - down there.

Not exactly freezing, but cool.  The night temperature have been dropping below zero though.

I'm used to minus 30 and well below in Canada .. so it's all relative, but the poor Aussies here haven't experienced that so they think it's really. cold ...  Cat Tongue

Yes, it is relative.....my Canadian husband used to tell all and sundry that it did not get cold in Australia.  In fact he became a bit of a bore about it and we ended up "having words", not that it made a great deal of difference.

In recent years he has had 2 bouts of pneumonia and it has left him feeling the cold.  Now that the boot is on the other foot he is beginning to realise what a fool he used to make of himself.....and I get glared at when I make a side comment about the cold in Australia when he is making a fuss about it.
