Good morning everyone,
A good weekend for our feline teams as they both won their games. I have a beautiful native hibiscus shrub that had grown lush and had the most stunning purple flowers, split in two over the weekend and will have to pulled out.Think in it`s place I will plant another rose.

That's a bitt sad about your hibiscus Nic.. I wonder what caused that to happen? Too much weight on it perhaps? I don't think there's anything you can do for it apart from take it out
do you remember how we fixed our standard roses that broke in the wind.. mine is still going OK.. hope your's is too

Due to the weight of the bush and some high winds we had at the time it had split too much and had to be pulled out.I think I will buy a nice bush rose and put in its place.Didn`t go to the market yesterday so headed down to Hamilton St to check out the oppys nothing caught me eye but ended up having some lunch in the French cafe his ham and cheese croissants are the best!

His cheesecake is pretty good there too Nic 🙂
A friend was telling me just the other day that there's a man at your market who sells very cheap plants, one's that he's grown himself. I must get my act together and go and have a look one day
